Bio

Evan Low, 41, was elected to Campbell City Council in 2006. He was the first Asian American to serve on the city council. In 2010, Low became the youngest openly LGBTQ mayor in the country at 26. Since his election to the Assembly, Low has led efforts to create a guaranteed income in California and a constitutional amendment to protect marriage for LQBTQ couples.  Low has a degree from San Jose State. His brother is a San Jose police officer
